Welcome to my site which showcases the work from the 208CMC Photography and Digital Imaging module.
Here you will find the images from the two assignments that I have undertaken this year. The first project is "Time Place Presence", a series of eight large images, each created with the Mamiya RB67 medium format camera and a roll of black and white Illford film. They are presented in the format of a negative - with all then images together. Each shot is taken at f/16 and I started with a 1/400th second exposure and then I changed the shutter speed, slowing it by a stop for each consecutive shot, reaching one second for the tenth exposure. This was to show that I could control "time", while the "place" part of the brief is satisfied by my choice of some of my favorite places to be. The "presence" in each photo is my girlfriend, who is reading her favourite book "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy".
My image "Untitled (Park - Time Place Presence)" was chosen to be displaed in the Ellen Terry building of Coventry Univerity. Here is a photograph of the image on display:

The second assignment is called "Identity" where I created a series of portraits which were infuenced by Steve Pyke's bodies of work as well as David Hiliard's images. This project was shot on a combination of 35mm SLR using colour FujiFilm and my Nikon digital SLR.
